Y’all. I have been blogging on charminglittlenest.com since 2010. Today, I went to log in to finish a post I was working on, and I was greeted with a white, blank page. After googling and panicking enough, I learned I experienced the “white page of death.” I followed every troubleshooting tutorial and finally read…sometimes, you just get hacked and it’s just not retrievable. What?????? Who wants to hack a “mom’s journal?!”
I spent the entire day trying to retrieve access to my old blog, the one that started it all. The one with memories of our sweet babies being tiny. One where I experienced a tremendous loss. One where I naively chartered the waters of the business world and made it thrive. I won’t give up trying to retrieve those archives, but I was met with an interesting decision.
I have gone through waves of blogging off and on. I wanted to feel the passion I initially felt when I started charminglittlenest. It wasn’t there. I had to decide if it was time to stop the blog or really run with it. The prospect of aligning a personal blog with Southern Nest was so exciting, I decided to go ahead and restart. Yep. From the beginning. But it’s ok…I firmly believe things line up for a reason.
