An exceptional life-size bronze sculpture by American artist Corinne Hartley, dated 1995 and marked “AC/30,” denoting an artist’s copy from the edition.

The composition is known as “Best Friends.” Another casting of Best Friends was acquired by the City of South San Francisco in 2002 and placed in the Orange Memorial Park Sculpture Garden as part of the city’s public art collection. This public placement reflects the recognized appeal and significance of Hartley’s work.

This privately owned example was originally acquired in Santa Fe, New Mexico, approximately 25 years ago. Its outdoor placement has allowed it to develop a naturally aged patina that contributes to its character and presence.
