I’ve been seeing ads for the clothing company Primary for quite some time. Their concept is so smart. Simple, cotton kid’s clothing that does not say something like “Mom’s Little Slugger” or “Princess” across the front. Why, why, why must so many companies do that?
I ordered two dresses for Georgia. I needed to see the quality before getting more. They arrived yesterday and I am thrilled!
The cotton is high quality. It’s thick and soft to the touch. Many people don’t notice things like stitching, but it’s one of the first things I look. An uneven stitch screams “cheaply-made.” And look at that stitching! I was honestly shocked, because the prices are very reasonable. When you register for their email list, they send you a discount code for your first order. (I think it was 15% off.)
I am planning to monogram them both (shocking, I know.) I think it would even be cute to layer them with a cute ruffled collar shirt underneath and a little cardigan. They also have boy clothes, so I am planning to get some stuff for Shep and Briggs. I love these classic, simple staples.
The link for their website is here: Primary
One more thing I need to rave about if you are in the Lake Norman area. My friend (thanks, Tiff) told me about a little hidden coffee shop. It is behind Lake Forest Church. She told me to order a Dirty Chai Latte. Y’all…it’s GOOD. Like, I keep thinking about it type of good. This is their website: Defined Coffee
Just pull into the church parking lot and drive around to the back. I couldn’t believe it was there!
