My Favorite Lunchbox for Kids

by Courtney

Some time ago, I posted this photo on Facebook. After answering all of my friends questions about where I got everything to make this school lunch for Briggs’, my friends are still bringing that post up. I decided to share it here.

I got this bento box: my bento.  I did quite a bit of research and chose this one.  We have used it for about 3 years now and it still looks like it did the first day I got it.  This thing is SOLID.  I also like the compartments.  I feel confident that I am packing a good variety of foods in the right portions.

Next, the fun part…all of the picks! I stick these in snacks at home or for school. Trust me…a cherry tomato may be lame to a child, but you stick some eyeballs in it and suddenly, everyone wants to eat the tomato monster.

Eyeball picks (I chose these because they have the largest variety): Picks

These are the animal picks I chose: Animal Picks

The bento box doesn’t stay cool on its own. It fits easily into a standard lunchbox. These are the cooler packs I chose: cooler packs. I liked that they were slim enough to fit easily into the lunchbox with the bento.

Getting kids to eat healthy is hard, but these little tricks definitely make it easier!
