The kids had gift cards to spend from Christmas. Georgia chose a pack of 24 bath-bombs (my upstairs smells like a cheap perfume shop), Briggs got something Minecrafty-Lego related, and Shep got a toy garbage truck. I have to share it here, because it is the second toy we have gotten from this company “Green Toys” and it is built insanely well.
I am quickly becoming a fan of their products. They are a bit more expensive, but they last. When I KonMaried my house, I tossed all of our cheap sand buckets that had a million cracks in them and invested in a set of these sand toys for each kid. They are by Green Toys and they are SOLID. We’ve had them 3 years now and they still look new…and my kids are hard on toys…just ask Georgia. The child got a makeup set for Christmas. She came walking in like this the other day, beaming with the makeover she gave herself. (Side note-are your kids in this “Jojo Siwa” mania? This is one of her cherished Jojo bows.)
Georgia and I went to the cutest event this past weekend! It was a tea party with a “real ballerina.” The girls got a makeover, a manicure, a ballet lesson, painted a tea pot, and read a story. My friend let me know about the event, but you can follow the company on Facebook to see when the next one is. The owner told me that they often do last minute pop-up parties as well. It’s the perfect thing to do with your little girl!
Is this wall of flowers not AMAZING? I couldn’t stop staring at it. I may need to do something similar in Georgia’s room.
Also, this past weekend, my dear friend and sorority sister Danielle and her family visited. We belly-laughed and tried for hours to figure out how Snapchat works. We never did figure it out.
David took Briggs to see Marvel Live. He absolutely loved it!
It was a busy weekend! Busy, but very fun.
