If you have followed my journey, you know I started my blog, Charming Little Nest, in 2011. As that grew and morphed into Southern Nest, I spent years navigating the stressful role of being a business owner and mother. When the time came to close that chapter and enter one of being a stay at home mother full time, I embraced it fully. During that time, I seldomly blogged and simply enjoyed my family.
To catch you up, we relocated our family to Florida. It’s been a magical journey and we love the new home we have created here. With all three children in school, it’s been an exciting time for me to rekindle an old romance….blogging. Blogging always felt like a special place for me to chat about my latest craft or perfect sundress find, and I truly missed it.
I was going through an old memory box and found my sorority “Senior Burns.” After a lot of cringing, I read a line that made me laugh. It read “Courtney will always be selling you on her favorite new lipgloss or idea.” Some things don’t change-my 22-year-old self would have been delighted at the notion that you can actually turn a passion such as mine into a career. I still love finding new products, ideas, systems, and talking my friends ears off about it. (If you know me…you know.) While I was excited to get accepted into a content creator program, this is a hobby for me. I will not ever be influenced to share products. This space will always remain a place where I come share things I love to discuss.
I will be sharing my journey as a mother, talking about the gorgeous new slice of paradise we landed in, and sharing my latest favorite things. I hope you will be along for the journey.
