A Fernandina Beach Daytrip and New Restaurant

by Courtney

Over Christmas break, the kids and I went for a quick daytrip to Fernandina Beach. We walked around downtown with Piper (the downtown area is so dog friendly) and stopped at a new restaurant that is a MUST try: Mason’s Lobster Rolls. I love lobster rolls and this was one was delicious. The lobster was cooked perfectly, which thrilled me. Too many times, I have ordered one to be disappointed with it being overcooked. The restaurant oozes New England charm, from the little decorative details to the casual porch eating. We sat outside (perfect since we had Piper.) They also have a kid friendly menu for picky eaters. The vibe is casual, so I could easily picture coming in a swim suit and cover up after a day at the beach.

On another note, I create content for Amazon (I do it monthy) and when I was reviewing photos, I realized I needed to share this lipgloss.

The day I took this photo was so cold and my lips were dry, but you’d never know. This is the Maracuja gloss I’m sure you’ve heard about. I love it. It’s instantly hydrating and the formula is very sheer. I have three colors: Clear, Hibiscus and Rose. (Rose is the color I am wearing in the photo below.) I usually line my lips with this Charlotte Tilbury lip pencil (I finally found a perfect shade of nude: Pillow Talk, Medium) and then swipe the gloss over that. Quick and easy.

Do you see the light fixture behind me? I finally got my Tilda chandelier and I am thrilled with it. More photos to come….Tilda needs her own post.
